These illustrations were my contribution to Kate Hahn's beautifully witty and imaginative history of fashion trends from the modern era that never quite caught on (mostly because their inventors never actually existed). Nevertheless, the historical circumstances that surround each of them are all too familiar, and make them all entirely plausible.
