The Dishcastle Guild documents creative and artful constructions of dishes, flatware, and cookware that provide optimum air-drying capacity for dishes that have just been cleaned. This project began as a challenge to myself to re-characterize a daily chore as a work of art. As a conceptual artist working in 5D, the project also extends beyond my own experience, with an invitation to amateur and professional artists, alike, to join the Guild, and include images of their own constructions in an online gallery.
